The Transvulcania takes place on May 9th at the island of La Palma. This event is especially interesting for lovers of competitions, sports, nature, and the impressive landscapes of the Canary Islands.

For those who have never heard of it, the Transvulcania is an endurance race, which is considered to be the toughest mountain ultramarathon of the Canary Islands, and which is counted among the most important ultramaraton competitions throughout Spain. The entire distance has a total length of 73 km, with a total of 8525 meters difference in altitude. It is celebrated on the island of La Palma since 2009 and has attended many international runners. This year will also participate leading runners of the Canary Islands, like: Cristofer Clemente, the runner from La Gomera from the Race Land Team, as well as Yeray Durán, which has just won the Maratón del Meridiano on the island El Hierro.
